Just wondered if it would be safe to buy it or should I rent it first. I am a big "Rock" fan. Total hotness!

If you love the Rock you'll love this movie. Even non-Rock fans like this movie. You get to see the sweet, caring side of the Rock that all women love, and he manages to keep his utterly perfect studliness in tact. You even get to see him in a football uniform. Tight pants never looked so good on a man.
The plot line is excellent, and the fact that it is a true story makes it even better. It is proof that the wrestler/football player can really act in a serious movie. It's exciting, moving and a little funny.
I ended up buying it. It is a must-have for any Rock fan.

It really depends. People either like this movie or they do not. I bought it, but I buy all movies dealing with football.
I personally thought it was a very good movie, but I am biased. I would rent it, and then decide from there.

dude you should buy it. It's a really good movie with a good story-line and it's based on a true story. plus the Rock isn't the only hot guy in the movie.

not really worth it, i saw it i didn't like it too much. One of those feel good moives, i think it is for little boys ages 7-12 or something who are on sport teams at school, I think that is the demograghic. He never goes shirtless in the movie or anything, so i would suggest watching the scropin king instead if you need you "Rock" fix.

i thought it was a decent movie but it was too long i found myself fast forwarding it towards the ending cause it drags
