I have no idea. All I know is that I work on the stage door of a theatre in London, and with the show on right now, we get hundreds of the freaks outside every day.
Incidentally, did you know that the collective noun for a group of autograph hunters is an 'anorak'. Just thought I'd share!

It depends. Maybe they're collecting them because they want to make sure that they've met or seen everyone that they want to see.
To some people it's just a hobby.
I collect autographs i guess you could say, but I just do it to brag and tell everyone who I got to meet! haha

My opinion.. well.. autographs is a sign of a celeb.. it's not that they're obsessed.. getting an autograph is like getting a mark from a celeb.
