My sister just made 18 last year. Her birthcertifacate was lost in a fire. She can't get an ID from the DMV without a birthcertificate. She was born in Palm Beach, FL. Can anyone tell us how she can get a replacement, please?

A Florida birth certificate can be obtained by authorized individuals from the Office of Vital Statistics, Department of Health, or through their website at http://www.doh.state.fl.us/planning_eval/vital_statistics.

You contact the County Clerk where she was born. It usually cost $5- 10 dollars to get a copy mailed to you.
