Swag or Schwag?

What does each mean? I have heard Swag as '$hi7 We All Give,'
but which would be used for promotional items you give out?

I always thought a "swag" is that thing on your curtains. "Schwag" refers to MJ that is not all that great.

Swag is the term for the free gifts given out at events.
