I have to write a letter to the government from the perspective of a union worker for my U.S. History class. What is a union worker? Where can I get information on the internet about them? I need ideas please, thanks!

Often text books can help. If you don't have information in yours, go to the library. They usually have a reference section that will help a LOT. And if that doesn't work...there's always Google!

Teamsters I think would be a great start. I think it was the first established union by Jimmy Hoffa. His son now is the president. Try www.teamster.org. This is a non-profit organization. Hope this helps you out.
