It depends on if your using menstrual supressiong ie. taking hormonal contraceptives or if it's a natural issue. If you're taking medications, then it's fine. If it's happening for some other reason, the consequences of not having your period are not the issue, the issue is why you're not getting your periods. See a doctor to determine the issue.
