Can you explain the ghoulish fascination with Anna Nichole Smith?

She is actually even more notorious posthumously. To me, it is all very sad and not a proper subject for tabloid journalism. How do you feel? What if she were a loved one; would you feel differently? Have you experienced similar scrutiny? How did you handle it?

I think that most people would rather concern themselves with the lives of celebs than think about issues that are of true importance. What good is it going to do the average citizen to find out why she died or who the father is? Maybe so they can have something to add to the office gossip. Congratulations America, this is the news we care about, so this is the news that gets reported. Ridiculous.

It's sad that people want to know and the tabloids use her as a selling point. She was very pretty and glamourous that's stating the obvious I know but it just proves that high profile people need to be made of stronger stuff. Her life seemed very superficial and as a youngster without a care in the world big boobs and blonde hair she could cope but as a mother losing a son so tragically reality comes crashing in and there is no substance to her existence and she bows out of the game only to be forgotten by those who aren't scandle mongers. Sad but....

If hundreds or thousands of people die ghastly deaths each day, then I will not be hung up on any celebrity. I put ghoulish fascination down to an unhealthy obsession with larger than life characters.
