If it won't make a difference, then why don't you wait? You'll most likely change your mind by then. Also, you don't realize it now, but you're much more mature and able to make wiser decisions at 18 than 14.

i would say if u really want it done ...just go and do it. u may have a problem getting it done though if u are under 18 ( they usually ask for ID) i got my belly button done when i was 15 tho so u just have to find a place that doesn't ID. your mom may be a little upset at first but she will likely get over it. after all it is your body and your life not hers. its not like you are wanting to get a tattoo that is permanent.. u can always take it out if worst comes to worst. moms always want the best for their children but they also have to learn to let go and let kids live their own lives at some point. maybe u should just tell her before u plan to go and get it done. just tell her this is what u want and what u are going to do with or without her support. mention that u wanted to discuss it with her before you actually did it...this shows maturity. hope this helps!

a lot of places wont do anything but ears without parent permission until you r18... you should wait anyway cuz you might not like it in a few years and they do leave scars
