been searching and have come up blank. I believe one team has given up 2 #1's for another teams franchised player. who was it and what teams were involved? some reason I am thinking dallas. thanks

The only team that paid the full franchise price of 2 #1 picks was the Carolina Panthers to the Washington Redskins for Sean Gilbert... and it was a bad move on their part, great for the Redskins!!

Peerless Price was traded for just one first round pick, and yet a bad move too.

The Falcons did it. They signed Peerless Price away from the Bills. He was designated as the Bills franchise player.

According to the story, it does not look like the Bills received two 1st round picks in exchange, and that they agreed for less. But the pick that they did get in return turned out to be Willis McGahee
