On the 12th August Ian Holloway was so thrilled at beating Sunderland 2 - 3 Plymouth, in his first away game as Manager he told the 700 Fans who made the 805 mile trip "Anyone who travelled up here, Send me a letter, I would like to buy you all a drink". People might not like Ian Holloway, but he has done OK for Plymouth Argyle FC, See you in the next round.

whatever it was its not enough!!

come on a bloody beer for 800 miles???

a free match ticket, or free coach travel would have been in order,,,

plymouth should have given every fan a ticket to there next home game for free, or refunded the cost of that match for season ticket holders!!!!

a club survives soley on its fans loyalty, and when those fans go above and beyond the call of duty,, they should be rewarded!!!!!

im a massive man city fan, and even have a season card, but there is no way on gods earth i would do a 800 mile round trip to watch them play?!?!?!?!? perhaps if they were in europe (yea like thatll happen),, but never for a domestic game!!!!!!

well done those fans

i applaud you
