I had my son 2 yrs ago via c-section (bikini cut incision) b/c his heart rate started dropping and I was not dilating past 3...My husband and I would like to have another child, but I am TERRIFIED to have another c-section...nothing went wrong with my first, but I just dont want to have to go through that again ...has anyone had a successful VBAC?

my friend had a c-section with her first because her baby was breach. 2nd one she WAS going to have another...just because that was the way it was done before, but she went into labor a day before her schedualed delivery so they had her deliver vaginaly. everything went peachy! for her 3rd she wanted another vaginal delivery but when she went into labor, she was past due and her water broke then after a little but her labor stopped. the ended up with ANOTHER c-section that time too :) so yes, to answer your question you CAN have a succesful VBAC! :) and from most people i have heard from...they preffer them vaginally!

Depends on the scar. My cousin had a c-section then 2 vaginal births, but the doctor who operated on her was excellent, and there was only a very narrow and compact scar on her tummy and uterus.
My mom and my aunt also had c-sections, then natural births, so it is doable, but if and only if your scars have healed properly, and there is no thinning of the uterus. Talk to your doctor, he should be able to explain this better.
