Packers were 8-8 this year and probably just a good play or two away from 9-7 or even 10-6.
Favre announced early that he was coming back. It seems like he is more excited to come back this time. That bodes well for the team.
Also since this is the second season for the coaching staff, I would expect that the players will be more comfortable and the coaches will better use the player's talents.

But the best thing we have going is just how bad our division is. 4 games against Minnesota and Detroit. Who could ask for more. Sure, the Bears are tough, but no matter what the Packers schedule looks like, they don't have to be a great team to win 9 or even 10 games.

Yes,I think they will have a winning season next yearand this draft will definitely be the indicator of how positive a future they will have in the short and long run. In my opinion their first pick should be a rb and their 2nd pick should be at te. They definitelly need help in the red zone and if Franks cannot do it anymore the Packers need someone that can.A good TE gets you out of many a trouble in the red zone and Ahman Green is atarting to get old and its time to get his successor . If the draft goes according to plan they willl get the rb from the University of Cal.

I would be very surprised and dissapointed if they do not make the playoffs.Brett is coming back the defense is very good as well as the offense.Kampman lead the NFC in sacks,Favre threw for just under 4,000 yards,Woodson was 5th in the league in INT,Driver had a spectacular year. They will be at least 10-6 with the potential to be 12-4.

I think they will actully make it to the playoffs next season with Favre returning. Although they do need help at the receiver positon. Driver cant do everything you know. Javon Walker was a KEY player on that team.

packers should make it to the playoffs and have the potential to win the division, as long as they don't get their head stuck in their butt. vikings and lions are easy wins. they should beat the bears in one of the games and a couple others on their schedule. but keep in mind they play the chargers, eagles at home and dallas away. i see the pack going 9-7, but like i said, they have the potential to do better then that and win the division. and to the dude who said we should beat the bears at home, have you been paying attention? they always beat us in lambeau, and we always beat them in chicago. kinda weird, but that's the way it usually works

Yes, why not? In the brutal (as in bad) NFC, anything is possible. If they beat Detroit and Minnesota like they should, that's four wins right there. They should beat Chicago at home so that's five. Four more wins isn't much to ask for.

Yes Kevin Barry is coming back plus when we get Randy Moss we can run an untouchable 4 receiver set. No one could stop us
