Don't be fooled by this additional tax. It's just another means to raise taxes to fund the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the NHS, the Millennium Dome (costing thousands per month), MP's pensions and travel expenses, etc.

The so called 'Green Taxes' should properly be known as 'Screw the British Taxpayer' which is the purpose they are designed to serve. As Denis Healey a Labour Chancellor once said,'screw them until the pips squeak'.
The difference between Brown and Dick Turpin is that Dick was honest enough to tell you that you were being robbed!.

Most of the money goes back into the general treasury coffers. They do the same with the Tube. Most of the profit it makes (the highest prices in the world) goes back into the general treasury and that is why it stays underfunded and broken down. The treasury should be forced to link these kinds of taxes directly to a result.

The money is being used to fund the new runway at Heathrow and at Stanstead.
And to pay so that labour flukies can jet around the world at taxpayers expense and then taxpayers pay again to pay off the so-called carbon footprint they left behind.

They are being spent to keep Politicians in huge expensive gas-guzzling cars, big houses that costs £1,000s a year to heat and private jets.
Meanwhile poor old Mr Jones can't afford to pay his gas bill.

Alot of 'green' money is hung up in 'Research', though we already have the technology to go green...to use almost zero fossil fuels.
It's time to just say no to more 'Research' at taxpayer expense, and say yes to 'Development'.
I truly believe fossil fuel shareholders, the wealthiest of the wealthy, including people in this administration, are intentionally holding up the changeover to green technologies so they can keep on getting wealthier and wealthier from existing technology in fossil fuels...giving taxpayer 'green' money to bogus 'Research'.
