Hopefully the Congress will hold hearing similar to the Truman Commission of WWII. When that happens the media should pick up on the fraud and theft committed by Halliburton and its affiliates.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... when? NEVER.
All of that information is highly confidential (most likely), and/or not too many people know about it. We're not going to find out for a while... Unless someone leaks it to the press

Nothing can be done against these companies that are profiting; they make a lot of money. Besides, the people who back them up are very high-ranked officials, and they'll do anything to keep that information away from the public and the press.

The Press is a business. Is the United Nations a business? Remember the opposition to the League of Nations? Even President Wilson's Sec of State opposed it - that was William Jennings Bryan who made his way into our culture as the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz. The League of Nations, like the UN, started with noble words and weak actions...60 years of the UN and you want to focus on the Press? Wow. Yakity yak yak yak.

Information like this is very crucial in forming public opinion and would therefore be held until enough time passed where it wouldn't effect present opinion in an ongoing conflict. You see this kind of holding of information in many current events. They will eventually be released, but only when they are proven to have the smallest impact on the public as possible. That's corporate media for you, though.

You can bet your sweet butt that the Republicans will find a way to never let that happen just like Bush found a way to never let the media show the flag draped coffins containing our fallen soldiers returning from Iraq. So much for free press.

Now a undeniable 3% will make mega salary from oil contracts and no bid reconstruction contracts..........makes Bush and Cheyney smile on the thought of their retirement years being paid for by ability of the sweat and blood of the U. S. provider guy and lady.....what the heck do they care, as maximum provider workers are from the the rest ninety seven% and not equivalent to their social status in that 3%.

They do this daily. Hilliburton is one prime example. To stop it might be an altogether different thing though. However informing the public is a Good start.
