i turned on to itv 2 yesterday 5 minutes early so i wont miss watching supernatural with starts at 11pm, but when i saw the screen, there was a message briefly saying 'for legal reasons we cannot show the programme scheduled'. does anyone know whats going on?

Probably got sued by someone claiming it infringed on their patented trademark or name.
People, this isn't fun anymore.
Can't we do ANYTHING without being sued?

Watch it on Sunday night instead. I thought it was on at 10 on a Thursday?

it was on itv2 at 10pm last night i watched it. new episode on sunday at 9pm on itv2

its a now showand the program will be repeated same time same station
