Somebody said this was not a marriage and divorce issue, but it very well might be.
Kitty will have pink spots until the fur grows out. It's a good thing she is a female cat.
You should dye your husband's wanger green while is is sleeping if you want to carry this issue to the next level.

There is a book about people that actually paint their cats with food coloring and the results are amazing. The book mentions that the cats groom it away, and it sheds off in about four months. As for the eyeliner, you might want to make (maybe an annonymous!) call to a vet and ask what is the safest way to remove it. I would hate for your cat to get an eye infection. He didn't use your eyeliner, right? And if he did, you threw it away and didn't use it, right?

Well--I think he may have gone a little over-board here, but the food coloring is not going to hurt her. PLUS, this will gradually lighten during her grooming rituals. It will take a little time, as food coloring is very permanent and almost impossible to remove, but it will lighten and finally go away, and this may take over 6 months. A cats saliva is a very powerful "stain remover", too. Just a little word of wisdom: Why not color YOUR HUBBY pink for next Valentines day and leave the cat alone??

If you're sure that whatever he used is safe for the cat, then you'll just have to let it wear off. Something about that really disturbs me though. Seems sort of cruel and unatural, but eh, it's your cat. Just make sure she's healthy. Giving her more baths would just upset her at this point.

HEH....don't worry it will naturally come off. But be careful giving a cat so many baths. You will upset the natural oil process of their skin causing problems down the line.
We used to tye-dye our white rabbits at girl scouts all the time. It really does not hurt them at all. If it does come down to her having a rash or her eyes begin to look red, call the vet immediately.

Quit trying to get it off.
The cat probably dislikes the cure a lot more than the coloring.
In time it will go away.
In the meantime you can point out how stupid a move that was.

before you try to remove all that stuff, dont you think the cat should first hit the town for a bit of dancing and partying...you know how crappy it can be when your all dressed up with no place to go...im thinking your husband may love to escort ms. kitty on that date..just check his breath when they return, if it smells lilke tuna well...ummm......~~~
