Being "overdressed" is better than being underdressed.
Suit, colored shirt (not white) and tie. Dress socks (not ankle socks) and tie shoes. Neat haircut and don't forget to shave and brush your teeth.
Dress socks look more professional.
I do not think age is an issue here. You are dressing for the position, not for how old you are.Finance companies are not know for their wild looks so it is best to look like them.
Good luck!

The rule of thumb is to dress one notch nicer than you would be expected to dress if you got the job.
Since finance companies are usually shirt-and-tie at the least, I'd wear a nice suit with a solid-colored shirt and tie. Shoes would be black or brown depending on the color of the suit, and the style will depend on the suit as well.
DO NOT wear ankle socks. You'll look like an idiot. Wear black or brown trouser socks.

you need to wear a suit. its as simple as that. some interviewers might actually be insulted if you dont and assume that you dont take the job seriously. Remember that many finance companies have a suit and tie as their standard day to day dress code. It doesnt matter what suit, or how cheap it is, it just has to be a suit. I would reccomend that you wear black socks.

you should wear some slacks.... khaki or black. With a solid botton up shirt and a nice tie that matches the shirt. You should wear a black or brown belt but make sure the shoes match the belt*** that's a must! Wear trouser socks that are a smiliar color to the shoes

Socks won't really matter aslong as your pants cover your ankles and your shoes are nice.
Just wear something casual and nice. If you know their uniform try to dress similar to it for your interview
But button up shirt with a tie will do. It isn't a professional business meeting so you won't really need a vest to go with your shirt. NO JEANS. And make sure you smell good and your hair is looking good.

no ankle socks! uncovered ankles are unprofessional on a male. try to figure out how people routinely dress in this workplace, then go to your interview dressed a little better than that. You want to show them you take the interview seriously.

It depends on what kind of impression you are trying to make. If you are serious about getting the job, go a couple of days earlier and see what the other people working there are wearing. Then when you go for the interview wear clothing similar to theirs.
