Because they are like Dorothy....if they click their heels and think of home, it will be truth. They are delusional about the good of this man. They are in denial about the truth of him. They cannot admit to themselves they have selected a small minded selfish little tyrant that is to big a coward to serve himself but is willing to spill American blood on his whims. They cannot admit that he is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country and totally incompetent as a leader. They cannot even rationally discuss it. Mention it and they start up about Clinton's sex life. They need to quit thumping their bibles and throwing stones at others and READ their bibles a little more. There is nothing Christlike about their Christianity and morality.

Wow...you have already gotten some great answers here. But I'd like it add mine.
First off, I will admit I voted for Nixon. He was the first person I voted for when I became eligible to vote. Then I turned democrat. And even though we(family) had it much better during his administration....someone on another board showed me the light. I was one stubborn person....and thought what I knew was right. Till this person kept posting material. I read it with an open mind...and was eventually blown away by some of the things I read. Mostly the things that are HISTORY..and proved to be correct. So now, I belong to the Constitution Party. But I will vote for another 3rd party. People who still support Bush are just still in denial. But even a very stubborn, emotion filled person like me can see the truth....I find it so hard that others can't or won't. Or...maybe it's because they also support groups like the Skulls and Bones. If they would just SAY that.....then it would help to explain things better.
But....Bush and everyone around him has/is lied/lying. There is NO way around it.
Like Bush said in November of 2005: "You can fool some of the people all the time. Those are the ones we are concentrating on."

All politicians lie. Some lie more (Nixon, Clinton) and others less (Eisenhower, Reagan), but all lie. My belief is that Bush was lied to about Iraq, and misled probably deliberately by the even bigger liars in the 'intelligence' community. I believe that back in 2003 he believed what he was saying, because he believed the lies he was being told. That does not make what he said truth, but it does mean that probably he did not knowingly or deliberately lie. Now, three years later, I can't explain or excuse him. Stubborn to the point of stupid seems accurate, and this is not a good thing for our President to be. Now I doubt if he is telling the truth about anything because the truth now is all so 'politically damaging' and embarrassing to him. A sad end for a presidency. Not trying to start a storm here, but now Saddam is gone from Iraq, our troops need to be home. Our job is done, the rest is up to the Iraq people.

All people have lied in which everyone who has spoken is indeed a liar. The liberals say liar liar pants on fire whenever I turn around.
1) No leader should ever say we are loosing or we are going to loose in a war we are in. Once we say we are going to loose. Our troops should beout. I can not believe you are peddling this propaganda tape. Both sides have propaganda. But it is almost like you are trying to say yes we are loosing just to bring our troops home. Is that your true agenda?

HAHAHA..... that's funny.. Bush never lied.. what a joke that is..
I think in time it will even be found that Bush was complicit in the downing of the twin towers.. and lets face it.. we still dont know what actually hit the pentagon.. it sure as hell wasnt a stolen boing 747.. we know that for certain 100% scientifically proven..
Then there is the fact that the owner of the twin towers.. Mr Silverman.. had tower 7 "pulled" after the twins collapsed..
HOW could he have it pulled unless it was already rigged up??? THESE were his own words.. I'm not making this up.. I have it on DVD too.. its been released.. the owner of the twin towers STATES that he had to pull building 7 which was seen collapsing perfectly.. now the only this could have occured is if it was rigged with explosives BEFORE Sept 11.. pure and simple..
If tower 7 was pulled.. then it is VERY likely that the planes that hit the tower were remote controlled army planes.. and thus Bush must've been in on it.. most postulate that he needed a solid excuse to invade Iraq as USA needed it's oil.. and Israel had already drawn up plans to have the oil piped to Tel Aviv.. THESE are all known facts.. check on the net if you dont believe me.. do a search.. and then WAKE UP AND SMELL REALITY..
YES.. Bush IS an evil devil.. YES he is a murderer and YES he is one of the biggest scumbags to grace this planet.. and also the worst leader in the history of leaders..
Because he lied to the world.. not just his own people.. he lied to the whole lanet and used Americas hard earnt repuation for being a truthful and democratic fair nation to get away with it..
Well.. he hasnt got away with it.. secrets out now.. and sadly.. all of America will pay together now.. how sad for the innocent especially those who hated Bush all along.. you'll all suffer together now as America will be plunged into the deepest recession ever very soon..
and lets face it.. when Bush came to power you already had a foreign debt problem.. of $3.5Trillion.. that figure is now over $7Trillion.. thanks to Bush..

When one discovers that many people think the earth is 6000 years old, and dinosaurs were " Jesus horses " ...what can one expect. If you are delusional you are delusional. I would feel sorry for them but for all the harm the War pResident his caused.
They are enablers of the worse sort.
Its debatable that voters RE elected Bush. His family is riddled with criminal scandals, and he panders to the worst in us.
Mr Bush and his war has only polarized and divided the nation so I am not surprised that 25% of American voters will never abandon him. Never did I think I would miss Nixon !
But I keep forgetting Bush is a Christianist.
We need to stay on message and keep hammering on the message that Bush is a fool and a liar - in addition to being a wounded lame duck.

There are a lot of people who do not admit to voting for Nixon. My mother does and the thing is, you have to be "big enough."
For example, I agreed with the idea of going into Iraq. I watched all of the presentations to Congress and when Colin Powell held up those photographs, it "sold me." However, they were dodgy photographs and I trusted that Colin Powell was correct and had no agenda (or was not supporting anyone else's). Since then, Colin Powell has stated that he will never live down what he did/ said. No one pays attention to that...They'd prefer staying in a place with no new information that would prove them wrong. Who wants to admit to making tens of thousands of American soldiers amputees?
I've spent hundreds of dollars sending care packages to our soldiers and I'm against the war--now. I was wrong. I can admit that. I was raised to be honest, though, no matter what I have to face for my actions or beliefs.

I think you are goofy. I am not a "Bush supporter." The President did not lie about anything. Your mean-spirited attempt at argumentum ad hominem is typical of the unethical left wing wackos now infesting the Democratic party.

You people keep calling him a liar, yet you've never proven it. You see, you need actual proof to convince me - I won't accept your irrational hatred of Bush as proof.
And if you're going to cite Al Qaeda as the source of your proof that Bush is a liar, then you're the most gullible fool I've ever seen. Guess what? The enemy is going to lie and say things about the person who is trying to kill them. It's called propaganda.
Each day, I have less and less respect for my political opponents. Their ability to reason is suspect at best.
