My craving was sniffing a hot flannel with different bubble baths on. I used to try all the different scents and lie there sniffing away. I was glad it wasnt a craving that would make me fat so carried on it was harmless! But a bit weird.

Only thing I absolutely craved was eating ice! Some say this has to do with being low in iron, which is common in pregnancy. My craving went away as soon as I had my baby.

I have had NO cravings, but i did go through a phase of eating sweet things to get rid of the metallic taste in my mouth. I had LOTS of aversions though - i went right off fizzy drinks and coffee for a while, but now i am almost back 'on' everything!!
I eat a lot more fruit now too which i didn't before - perhaps it's our bodies way of making sure we get the right balance of vitamins, minerals, etc??

i'm pregnant and i too crave things i didn't used to like - suddenly i have found that i want hot and spicy things (which they told me to be careful with) i used to hate it - i used to think that the hot sausages were nasty now i want them - i generally don't drink pop but suddenly want code red mountain dew - and milk - i can drink at least a gallon a day if i don't watch it - i had to get fat free so i don't gain tons of weight!!! it's normal to have cravings for odd things - it can just be a hassle when it seems like a life or death situation if you don't get what it is you're craving - lol

my wife had a craving for orange ice lollies ( just to get some strange looks going out in the snow to get them when we ran out I can tell you ) also lambs liver casserole but she wasn't allowed that so i think that was just deprivation really and not a true craving

My wife used to wake me up at 1:00 am and get her an Anchovie pizza. She would wash it down with a glass of milk halfway filled with M&M's.
