Much of the trading in Ghana is done from roadside stalls and there's millions of them selling everything you could ever want for a fraction of the cost that we pay in the west. To give you an example - I was there recently and bought a really good mountain bike for under $60, back home it wold have cost perhaps $500. Got a cellphone for $58 which would have cost about $400. Next time I go I'm talking almost nothing with me and buying clothes and the like over there at a fraction of the cost.

You won't have a problem finding a place to buy an Ipod.

By the way, Ghana is in West Africa.
