Use a hair trimmer. Then a small pair of scissors. Then get a razor with a new blade, lather up and have at it. Be careful because of the thin skin tissue. Better still, have someone else do it for you. That could be fun. You could return the favor, too.

Very carefully.... A knife??? If your a dude why would you put a knife so close to your member????
No, trim the hair with a pair of scissors, apply shaving cream and slowly shave the area, perferably towards the growth of the hair. Do not shave too hard, you will cause razor burn and THAT HURTS!!!
Your best bet is to let your wife or girlfriend or a feamle you trust do it for you

Never use a knife!! First, trim your pubes with a pair of scissors. Then, use a safety razor (with a clean blade) to gently shave off the remaining hair, taking care not to nick the penis & scrotum. When you're finished, apply after shave balm and talcum powder. You'll feel like a new man!

first things first. don't shave it bald unless you want to itch from hell when the hair grows back. trim the hair with scissors, to a manageable length and then run an electric razor over it if one is available, if not just trim the hair really short, very carefully. i would definitely not recommend using a razor, cutting yourself is way to easy especially when you get to the more tender regions. besides the incredibly high cutting risk with a razor, the itching that comes after the hair starts growing back is a living hell. but, if you want to try the razor and experience the itch for yourself, buy a safety razor from a drug store. no matter what, don't trim it in a rush, you'll only be hurting yourself if you happen to snip something.
here is the link to the Norelco site...it has the total body groomer. i use it for my own personal grooming and it works well. good luck! http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer/catalog/tree/en/us/norelco/MENS_GROOMING_GR_US_NORELCO/MEN_TRIMMERS_CA_US_NORELCO/TR_PERSONALGROOMER_SU_US_NORELCO/ce/_productId_BG2020_30_US_NORELCO/total_body_grooming_system+BG2020?proxybuster=KKJPKDE43YN05J0RMRESHQVHKFSEKI5P&mRank=2

i use a beard/nose/sideburn trimmer i bought at wal-mart for $15.. i set the height of the blade guard to the shortest setting, so that it is close yet unable to cut me, and just go at it..
norelco also manufactures a shaver specifically designed for this purpose, but that will run you around $60

Make sure you're sober. I use a triple edge Mach 3 on my sack. I let the rest run wild.
