bride would be paid instead by the family of the bridegroom like it is in Iran or Palestine. Then it would make more use for families to bring up girls so that for every man there is one potential spouse.

Technically dowlry is illegal in india, and it was made illegal in order to protect women from being burned to death by their inlaws for not bringing enough money to the marriage. In my opinion it makes no sense for a womans family to pay a mans family, a dowlry, because it resembles a stud fee, (when you pay the owners of a male animal to mate with your female animal). In a marriage, the children a woman produces, will not be her fathers children, or even bear her fathers name, so why should he pay some guy to marry his daughter?? The groom should pay, because its the woman that will allow him to carry on his family name. Its despicable that people would continue to disrespect women in such a disgusting way, as to view them as lower than animals.

The truth is that the Soul is sexless, it the Self is neither male nor female. It is beyond sex and is the Unisex
