Hi, I have found live streaming of live football games, does anyone know how I connect my laptop which is quite old it is a dell c600 to my plasma tv. I bought a cable but it is the wrong one it is only to watch dvds from laptop to tv. I have a blue connection on the back of my laptop with 3 sets of five holes. hope you can help.

that's a vga out port on the back of your computer. it will not allow you to view an external source on your notebook's display.

If your notebook has wifi, you might want to consider a slingbox or a sony locationfree tv unit.

Many new digital TVs have VGA input. My one does, certainly. Otherwise look for composite video out on your laptop (small, round port) -- If your TV doesn't have composite input, you can always get a composite to SCART connector.
