When i say I have hips, I don't mean that I'm hefty. I wear a size 9-10 and am 5'9". My legs are really long so when I get long jeans that fit everywhere else... they don't sit right on my hips. They tend to be for "stick" women. Stretch material is good, but you know how it stretches out during the day. I just want a good quality pair of jeans, I'm sure they are pricey, but.... Any good suggestions?

I wear Miss Sixty straight leg jeans, and they actually look much nicer on wide hips than bootcut jeans, because they don't show how skinny your knees are compared to your hips.

I like the jeans at Express. I think the ones I get are X2. They come in different lengths so you will be able to get long if you need to. They have some stretch in them, but aren't too tight. I have some junk in the trunk but a small waist, and was very surprised and pleased to find jeans that fit me. I've had mine for a few years and I wear them a lot but they haven't worn out yet.. I've pretty much gotten rid of all my other jeans. They aren't too expensive, I think around $60 or so.

trust me..i feel your pain..im 5'8..145lbs and im all hips..none really sat right except some applebottoms jeans and these other jeans that are just great..they're somewhat pricey but they're well worth it..check out the link below..they've got alot of cute jeans and shirts too..

i think youre best bet would be Citizens of Humanitiy. they run the most for real women in my experience. I think they fit a variety of types, just try a bunch on and they come very long and bloomies and nm hem them for you for free. 7 for all mankind are awesome and are true religion, the only way to find out is to try them on though, good luck :)

im quite hippy too so i feel your pain!! like you, im not fat, im actually quite toned, i just have an hour glass figure. in my experience i always get jeans with alot of elastic. I really love skinny jeans for this. Brands i like are j & company, guess and replay.
