I just need to know what should I do?

That would be either a skin infection or a cut that has gotten infected. You need to go to a pet store and get ether Furanace or Marycn and treat the tank as directed on the box. That will clear it up.

Well. I'm not exactly sure if you can take fish to the vet...well at least not where I live, but it's a pretty rural place...so I wouldn't know.
But I say that maybe just give your vet a call, or check the internet for some more information. Um...other than that, I can only wish you and your fish the best of luck, and perhaps you should watch him to see if she/he is acting strange. It might not be anything! :-)

it might be a parasite, take it to your local fish store and have it checked out. if its parasites give it a salt bath of aquarium water, 5g of aquarium salt or uniodised salt for 5 minutes, make sure it aerated well. and add 2 g of salt to your community tank where he lives.

It could be a disease of some sort or just a scratch or cut
Some melafix will heal it up, you can get it at your local walmart
