personally it depends on what mood i was in before it started raining. And how long it was raining. And whether I have any homework to do.

If you feel depressed and trapped constantly during the winter, and you feel lethargic and always sleepy, you might be suffering from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) because you wouldn't be recieving enough light, and affects your mood and brain chemistry. So if you think it is the case, I suggest you see a doctor, this disorder is very treatable.

Perhaps when its raining you could invite some friends over to watch the game or have a cup of tea, or just see a dvd with them. It always makes you feel better.

If I am already depressed, then yes, anything does.
If I am not, then no. Any other time it rains, I feel hapy, exilarated, and at peace.
Rain to me is a cleasing of all things.
The air is cleaner after a rain.
The bad things in the world seem to halt and it almost feels as if all wrongs are righted (not in a literal sense).
It cleans and purifies everything, a fresh clean start.
I personally enjoy the rain.

no - I think it depends where you are. In a small house with small windows, it can make you fel trapped. In the countryside, looking out over fields and space, I find the rain very refreshing. It's actually pleasant to walk out in the rain in proper waterproof clothing and experience it ... and then come back to a warm bath.
In a very warm climate, like southern Spain, the lack of rain has turned the landscape into a barren dustbowl which is unpleasant to see ... rain brings green to our landscape.

Honestly no. For some reason when it rains I get excited and want to go places and do stuff. Now i'm not a huge fan of getting wet. But i'll suddenly think of all the errands I have been putting off, and even things i'd like to do around the house.

Makes me feel cold, miserable, fed up and that I want to move to the continent.

Rain after a really hot period in the summer is the only good rain you can have. Other than then, it just seems to do its best to lay waste to any plans I try and make! Combined with wind it puts me in an evil mood.

It feels to me like you may have had a bad experience that you now associate with rainy weather. This also happened to me when I was young and having 2 or more cloudy days in a row would bring on a mild depression. I now live in Florida where the sun shines more often and this has helped me. However, the biggest relief came when I accessed the memory of the abuse I suffered and discovered it happened on a rainy day and that I came to hate rainy, cloudy days from that time on. I feel alot better about rainy days, now.
Blessings

The lack of sun makes me depressed, but sometimes I like the rain - like when I'm snuggled up in my warm bed and hear it pelting down outside, that's quite comforting. Also, you don't get rainbows without rain!

nothing of the sort..
i love the rain the pitter patter noise it makes its so rythmic so peacful..the sight of it rolling down your window glass is so mesmerising..and the smell it gives off that fresh water smell is also really refreshing..and i like the feeling of it on my tongue or on my poncho..it appeals to all my senses..perhaps its because i m an aquarius..i dont know..
but i fully appreciate the rain people pray for rain in some parts of the world and it makes me feel fortunate i have that pitter patter to listen to..
