Yes, you can go to the ER and they will treat you for your bladder infection but you will benefit from finding a doctor for your prenatal care.
If you are able to schedule an appointment with an Obstetrician Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) they can run a laboratory test on you to treat your bladder infection. But sometimes it is hard to get an appointment and in that case you may need to go to the ER.
You will need more prenatal care than what they can provide in the ER. Call an Ob/Gyn in your area or contact a local health clinic if insurance is an issue. You could also see if there are any midwifes, many of whom can sometimes provide services at a lower cost and insurance is not necessary. You are about half way through your pregnancy but especially in the next upcoming months, you will want a doctor or midwife to ensure that you and your baby are healthy and growing well.
Have you had an ultrasound or anything like that done? Have friends or family been able to inform you about other things that are important to know in how to take care of yourself while you are pregnant? These are things your Ob/Gyn or midwife could help you with.
When I was pregnant with my babies (they were just born 4 months ago) I used the March of Dimes website a lot for prenatal information, along with help from my doctor. You may find this helpful: http://www.marchofdimes.com/pnhec/159_513.asp
You can also google all kinds of information on things that are good to eat, what activities not to do, and other information to help you prepare for the arrival of your baby. But still please do schedule an appointment at the doctors or clinic soon.
Best wishes to you and I hope you feel better soon!

You could go to the er, but you are not going to get the attention and care that you require. They really will only treat your infection. While you are not left with much choice if you have an infection, it's not a good idea to try to get prenatal care from the er going forward.

All the er will do is if you have an infection maybe write you out some meds for a bladder infection but they will tell you to go see your regular doctor.
You need to see a ob/gyn. You should have been having prenatal care from the time you found out you were pregnant.

Keep in mind the expenses are much much higher in the er. You would be much better off getting a usual obgyn. Besides it is very important to have prenatal visits not just a one time deal.

You need to get routine prenatal care, not just a one-time visit. Find an OB immediately. If you do not have insurance or can't afford a doctor, then search around for free clinics or an OB who will be able to work within your budget.
Please keep in mind that soon you will need to visit the doc every 2 weeks, and then every 1 week at the end.

At the hospital I went to they would see me in the ER up until 28 weeks in which they sent me to the child birth center. However since you have had no previous prenatal check ups they will most likly send you to any part of your hospital with an OBGYN.

Does your community have any form of walk-in health facility/checklist interior the field/community well-being health facility? Your symtpoms dont' sound like a real emergency, so the ER does no longer be the appropriate place to flow. yet, in case you haven't any longer the different selection, flow. tell them what you informed us -- you're feverish and having chills and sense unwell on your abdomen. you would be triaged and considered via a doctor who will diagnose and deal along with your ailment and then, with a bit of luck, refer you to a health facility or well-being care provider for some form of prenatal care. after which you would be able to anticipate to get an extremely large bill from the ER, provided that they do no longer look to be meant for offering habitual well-being care.

Go see your GP. ER is for emergencies only. As for the level of care, contact your midwife. You should at least have had a 12 week scan. Also, you need checks to look for any obvious abnormalities.
Start making noise.
