Is something wrong with the judge in Anna Nichol Smith case?

Is it just me,or do find the judge to be a little goofy and weird.It seems that he wants his 15 minutes of fame.

No, he is not goofy. Since this is high profile, it might seem that all he wants is his "15 minutes" of fame but what he is doing is ensuring that any decisions made cannot be overturned on appeal based on a lawyer claiming their arguments were not heard.
So for example, the ME said he had collected enough DNA for paternity testing but Larry Birkhead's lawyer wanted their own sample. The judge ordered it, so that if there is any question with regards to the paternity test, Larry Birkhead et al cannot say they did not get an independently collected sample for testing.
The judge is expected to sign the order to embalm her today. Her mother's lawyer and Howard K Stern's lawyer are battling for the body. He told them to get a funeral home that would be satisfactory to both parties so it can be done today. This way no party can say they did not have any say.
The lawyers have made it personal and convoluted but since they have been hopscotching all over the place, he is making sure that everyone is on the record before he makes the final decision which I think will be to give the body to Stern because Anna declared her wishes to be buried next to her son.

What judge is looking for their 15 mins of fame? I didnt see Judge Lance Ito cashing in on the OJ trial as the judge who presided over the trial he went back to his normal duty as a judge and you havent heard anything since. This judge isnt looking for any of that since he's ruling on injunctions filed in California. It's the Florida judge who said to hold Anna's remains until after a hearing in 10 days. As far as DNA is concerned the medical examiner can perform the paternity test and send the results to California for the court to make their ruling in this case. Anna really had a poor track record with men and if she said on her website that the father of her baby-at the time she was 2 months along was a photographer then chances likely it's Larry Birkhead. Anna had a lot of problems maintaining a relationship with men who loved her and had her best interest and coming from someone who's got not a lot of education she made a lot of big mistakes and one of them was getting involved with her lawyer since now he could face losing his law license for this.

I think he just wants it be done right so like he said 20 years from now she wont have to be dug up. I know there are more important things going on in the world as one person stated, but this is so sad, there is a little baby that has lost her mom and will never know her, and one man out there that wants his little girl. Its time to lay Anna to rest, find out "who's your daddy" and get on with it. Anna wanted to be put to rest beside her son and that is where she needs to be, her mom is a idiot. All that woman cares about is the money.

Hey man i don't know if anyone told you....but we have more important things to worry about in this country then what Anna nicoles Judge is doing....they all want 15 minutes of fame. And the only reason they are getting it is because simple minded people actually care about what is going on with her! Troops are dying, There are children who didn't get breakfast this morning! Issues much more important.

Yes he is weird and he is only seeking his 15 minutes of fame. he has been informed by the medical examiner that her body is decomposing, and he still wont release it for burial?? Cmon. Put the woman to rest.
