The Base of a square based prism has edge equal to 2 cm. and height 12cm. A hole extending from upper base to lower base is in the shape of a equilateral triangle prism having an edge of lenth 1cm. Prove that TSA of the solid is 140 + Sqrt 3/2.
Please explain how.

The volume of a prism is the product of the area of the base and the distance between the two base faces (in the case of a non-right prism, note that this means the perpendicular distance).
