Here in Southern California it is beautiful. It is 5:10AM local time so the sun not yet risen. It is 10 C and will reach a high of
27 C with sunny skies all day long. Probably about the same as your weather in France.
(That is a low of 51 F and a high of 82 F for all you New Yorkers and Eastern seaboard people. Now I remember why we put up with all the traffic).
Bon voyage.

This USA is a big Nation and the weather can go from hot to cold depending on where you are located. We have diverse weather as diverse as our citizens. Sometimes there is quite a contrast in weather as well as people. I am in New York and right now it is extremely cold -- about as cold as I felt as an American in Paris. Hope you don't feel that way about us. Continue to ask questions -- it would be wonderful if you could learn more about us than our weather. Bye for now.

I'm in Northeast Florida - it's about 40 degrees right now and is expected to get to the mid 50s later on. It had been so uncommonly hot here that I was beginning to think it was the end of the world, but I know better!

The answer actualy depends on what part of the USA you are interested in. I'm in the Nort East, and we are having cold conditions, and two days ago, had a lot of snow. Our winter has been very strange, as it was quite warm, and very little snow, up to this past week. We are about six weeks away from Spring.

Here in St Petersburg, Florida we have a windy, overcast and cool day. Temperatures are below normal for us for this time of year. The high is projected for 58 degrees.
This may sound like heaven to those in the North and mid-states in the US where they have had lots of snow, ice and below freezing temperatures for a couple of weeks now. We are all looking forward to Spring!!!!

depends on what part of the u.s.a. you are talking about. we are a huge nation and have many diverse climate types and extremely different weather. the weather even differs greatly in different parts of the same state. I am in upper central Illinois, right now the temp is 8 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit), later today it will reach 22 degrees and become cloudy with possible chance of snow flurries.

The USA is huge and you will get a wide variety of answers depending where we live.
Here in the North East (NY State) we are buried under mounds of snow with our 15th consecutive day of below freezing temperatures!

Enjoy your sunshine, ya braggart! Here in New York it's record snow and cold. If you guys hadn't been so much help during our Revolution, I'd come over there and kick yer froggy butt for being so smug! Oh, and thanks for the Statue of Liberty - that was a nice gesture and we appreciate it - despite the deluded ramblings of George W. Bush...
