Accuracy level 0.02 means your estimate is at most .02 apart from .o2, that is, if the precise solution is s and your estimate is s*, then |s* - s| <= 0.02.

But in this case this dosen't make sende, because the series 1/1 + 1/2 + 1/3.....is the harmonic series, which is well known to diverge. That is, it goes to infinity. For every M >0, you can find a k, such that n>=k implies 1 + 1/2....+ 1/n > M

The infinite series 1/1 + 1/2 + 1/3 ... does not converge. This means that the value gets slowly larger the more terms you include and does not "home in" on a value.

"accuracy level 0.02" probably means to the nearest 0.02 which does not make sense in a value which doesn't converge. In this example it might mean the value of the term when the most recently-added value is 0.02 (i.e. 1/50). The value of the finite series 1/1 + 1/2 + 1/3 + ... + 1/49 + 1/50 = 4.49 (to 2 decimal places)

For now, I can answer that accuracy level means that the probable "mistake" of measuring or calculating something is 0.02. Lets say that we have a laser that can measure a distance that is 1 meter wide. The result that can give us can vary between 0.99 meters and 1.01 meters. That is the accuracy level. I will answer to the other half of the question lately.

Congrats, Michael! I am closing in on level 5 too, so we should all share. It seems like a delicious idea to me. What do you think? Lol, I always wondered what the points on Y/A mean, I mean what's the point of points if they don't lead to something? Anyway, I'm happy for you that you reached a new level! Keep up the good work!

Well the way I learned math your answer is already wrong. Sorry, But 1/1 is equal to one whole as in 1, & 1/2 is equal to one half, this being then 1/1 + 1/2 equal to One and a half.

accuracy of 0.02 means

( actual ans - obtained ans) / actual ans = 0.02

note: 1/1 + 1/2 +1/3 . . . upto infinity is infinite
