OK this might sound abit blunt but I'm gonna say it any way. parents have themselves to blame not kids themselves children DON'T know any better and they look up to there mum and dad etc and if there not given discipline what do people bloody expect? children always push there limits its up to the lazy parents to put there foot down. its called tough love people.

I have a lot of kids and you can bet I have control over the TV.

We have 1 TV, that's it. My husband & I are pretty strict about what is acceptable to watch. The kids whine about it, but too bad.

My little ones are in bed by 9 p.m. My teens watch some shows with us, but it's mostly the History, Discovery, or Learning Channels. We watch Animal Planet too.

We really try hard to stay away from violent/sexual stuff. Also the TV isn't such a big part of our lives...

My kids aren't allowed to watch tv after 9. But it is hard, especially as there is no reason for a 14 year old to go to bed at 9 o'clock. So they have a tv (unconnected to an aerial) with a dvd player in their bedroom and they can, if they wish, watch videos and dvd's.
I hate modern tv - I watched Paul McKenna last night and he was swearing. Why? I'm so sick of the language, the violence and the inappropriateness of it all, i would get rid of it if my husband didn't object.

Parents have gottenl lazy and don't feel like dealing with their kids so they tell them to go watch t.v. when they do this they don't run behind the child to see what the child is watching. They just don't want to be bothered
