No the ground is not frozen in South Australia. It is over 100 degrees here (40 Degrees in Aussie language) and the ground is Cracked as we haven't had rain here for months. We are in a very bad drought and it is bloody hot!

Will there ever be school again?? (Day 4 now) I live in WV right beside a ski resort and they are the ONLY ones happy with the weather...the ground is not the only thing frozen...went out yesterday (after a shower) to work and my hair froze! My son thought this was hilarious and started crunching it. I agree with the other answerer, def. cold enough to freeze your boogies!

Yes to a depth of 18" 11 days ago. A friend of mine was putting in a new sewer line and the backhoe had a hard time digging the trench. Probably deeper now since it hasn't been over 20 degrees since then. Central Illinois.

I'm in n/e Scotland, it's not now but last week the ground was solid. Until the snow melted then it was like the mud wrestling capital of the world. Quite nice at the moment though!

Yes, I'm freezing to death! I am so tired of all this snow and I live in the Southwest (US) where it rarely snows more than a day per season. I feel like I live in Alaska. I think we all do this winter.

Hurry up, Sringtime.
