Why french? Are they more hijack-able than any other planes? Do they have built in balaclavas or AK47's in the over head lockers? Do they have a faint odour of garlic which is an aphrodisiacs to the militants?

Yes but unfortunately you'd be hard pressed to find a French plane. Airbus isn't French, and even Air France fly Boeings more than anything anyway.
