well, ive been talking to this guy for almost a year now and now he's all i think about. im 15 going on 16 this summer and he just turned 15 last month. i seriously thought he was older than me, but then i found out he's younger than me. im somewhat the type that likes when the guy is older. i feel now that he's too young for me even though the age difference is only 6 months. my mom is older than my dad by 2 months, so its not that bad. i really enjoy talking to him and we've developed this 'sexual' sort of relationship. what should i do?
p.s. i know yall gonna say im too young to be even asking this...can you please answer anyway

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 7 months younger than me... i've always dated older guys... simply because i like them better. But I've been with my boyfriend for about 1 1/2 and seriously... there is no difference in his maturity level compared to the 23 years i use to go out with. Age is just a number. Don't worry about it... me and my boyfriend joke about how i'm older and how i like younger men and he likes older women even though we are just months apart. Don't make it a big deal because it's not. don't think about it.

I don't think that we are going to say that your too young to be asking the ? . We are going to say that your too young to be having a sexual relationship. As for the age difference............. I am 6 years older than my husband so, 6 months isn't anything and neither is your mom and dad's 2 month difference. Keep talking to your boyfriend if that is what you want? Being months apart in age isn't anything unless you make it out to be something. The only thing that I suggest to you is to stop with the sex and the sexual conduct. I don't know how far the two of you go nor, do I want to but come on sweetie!!!!!!, your only 16. Do you want to be 16 and carrying a baby or worse 16 with an STD or HIV????? That happens even with protection. Maybe you should sit down and talk to your mom about all of these issues. Think about talking to your mom she may surprise you .

i never dated anyone younger than me but one guy, and it was ok think of it this way, what if it was the other way around? would you want a guy to not even give you a chance because of your age, ( but really when your 15 and 16 they should be like that if its not legal!) but a few months? its in the same year he will be 16 too soon so if i was you dont think of his age an issue, i know you wont take it serious when i say its just puppy love, but it is. so take advantage of the "puppy love" while you can cause in a few years you'll be wishing you were 16 again
be smart if and when you do have sex (befor) get on birth control! im 20 and its so hard to raise a baby with out have ever gone to college. $6.5 an hour is so so bad!

Well me and my boyfriend of 3 months are a year and 2 weeks apart. Im older and I usually go for older guys too but this guy is different. I fell in love and it doesnt really matter. I started out not liking him and didnt really like him at all until we had been goin out for 3 weeks which had been my birth day. I knew he was younger than me but if you really like him you should be with him and not worry about too much. But if you cant stand it then you need ot get out of the relationship. But do what YOU think is right not what OTHERS think. Everyones different so its up to you.

Nothing wrong at all with a younger man. The age does not matter-if you like him then go for it!!I do think you are too young to date, 16 is a better age.

Yeah, you are too young to have a "sexual" sort of relationship with anyone....older or younger. There is no crime in being intrested in someone younger than you, but you are obviously not that intrested in him. If you were you wouldn't be asking if it was okay or feel that he is too young for you....
Give yourself some time....guys are like fishes, there's millions of them in the sea to enjoy before you decide on your favorite!

It's up to you - after all it is YOUR relationship. If you can trust this guy to be mature, and not 'use' you, then you do what is best. Make sure you use a condom, and if you're worried what your friends will say - don't tell them!
Also be careful if the relationship ends - he could spread rumours about you etc. Think it through, and if it is what you really want, and if you can trust him, then it's fine.
Don't forget about the legality of it - in Britain it's illegal for anyone to have sex under 16.

If it didn't matter before it shouldn't matter now.
Age is only chronological. It might feel a little weird, but if you're generally happy, why change something?
My aunt is a year older than her husband and they've been happily married for at least 20 years. Not sure specifically.

You shouldnt worry bout it cause im older than my boyfriend and he is one year and a few months diffrence with me being older we have a great relationship! If you feel strong feeling for him and like to be around him be with him dont let age decide for you!
