Hee hee that's a good one.

Maybe they'd just construct a very small jail - put a bucket over the bad twin's head or something :-D

But then the good twin might complain that people stare at him/her in the street **LOL

This has to be one of the best questions I have seen on here. Well done.

Your questions raises several. To the law is a siamese twin one individual or two? If the twin does not press charges is the law obligated to press charges? Does the law have clauses to protect the innocent from being unfairly penalised in an effort to detain another?

If you hurt yourself have you commited assault? Probably not.

I just don't know. It is a good question.

They would probably be hurting themselves just as much and they have enough trouble, let alone going to prison. Surely your question should be if one of the twins assaulted someone else, how would law cope with it if the other twin did not want to be involved. I doubt it will come up too often and they would both be accused guilty i guess but taken into special care rather than prison.

Also, its conjoined twins not Siamese.

I'd say the law would protect the innocent and not jail them. It could put the assaulting twin on probation, maybe?

i don't think the law could cope with that but i think it unlikely that the twin would report it because the whole sharing a body thing and having to give their statement with the other in the same room i think they'd be to scared of the repercussions later

Well, what if Captain Kirk beamed them up and phased their butts apart....then we could lock the bad twin up!

they couldn't really assault each other, try and stand side by side with some one and put your closest arm around them then with out turning try and hit them, because with out the others ones help to turn you couldn't so really if there was a crime committed it would have to be both of them so therefore both would be punished

That's a really good question.

They'd probably pay a fine instead of going to jail.
