My speakers work and I know I plugged the thing into the right place. I also tested the mic on my other computer so it's not broken. I unmuted everything in the volume control. but when I test the mic it still won't pick up anything.
HELP!

double click your volume.
check the mic option,
what OS you have?

is it USB? - try the drop-down list for soundcards you have installed. If not, the guide should work

windows xp.....make sure when your system check comes up that you ok the right set up......then it should work
