If you want more 9/11's in our future, if you want to fulfill Bin Laden's prediction about America, if you are interested in defeat, if you are interested in the loss of your freedoms to a bunch of islamic facists, go ahead and surrender. I choose not to.

Presence justifiable? NO. There were and still are worse dictators in the world than Saddam. And when Bush says its about establishing democracy in the Middle East, he seems to be forgetting that Israel is a democracy and has been since 1948.
Should we pull out? NO. Too many good American soldiers have given their all. What we need to do is quit trying to understand the enemy and start killing the enemy. That is the way wars are won or lost.

I do not feel that our presence is justified but since our government made this mess we should stay there but make sure that Iraq takes an active part in securing their nation. This is where the problem is for they have not been doing enough to take care of themselves and are leaving the job to the US troops, who I support 100%.
I say give them six months to take control, then get out. I am also against a troop escalation. It's not like we're wanted there anyway, so why continue to send more soldiers in harms way?

Our invasion was not justifiable despite the ruler being a criminal. It is not our responsibility to invade and replace all rulers that do not measure up to what we think that they should. Cheney fed Bush with false info and Bush being the genius that he is believed him. The main reason that Bush wanted to go to war was the supposed "hit" that Saddam put on old man Bush. We are in this thing *** deep and a retreat would mean another morale defeat by our military much like it was after the Vietnam war.

I try not to, it has been a political and moral fiasco. There was no real good reason to go with Iraq other then to boost personal gain, there should be an investigation into who is profiting from the war. I would like them to follow the money trail and just see what high ranking officials are profiting.

We shouldn't have gone to Iraq, or Afghanistan, or Grenada, or Panama, or Vietnam..... Do I sound like a bleeding heart liberal? Heck no. I'm a conservative who saw every country that US has invaded turn to feces. (And that includes overthrow of the Shah of Iran).
It turns out that I am mostly a conservative in the national affairs.... Minimum government is best. Government should not protect people from birth to death. That's the people's business! Anyway... enough of that.

We should pull out with a win! How do you get a win in five days tell them " the new government" they have five days to clean the crap up, If they don't we will bomb them flat!! While some extremist don't care if they kill themselves and others there are those who will be more willing to point to the enemy if they new they wouldn't exist in a couple of days.
Now that's leaving Iraq in a win situation!

A shear waste of resources, manpower, time and money.
By any standards the presence of foreign troops in Iraq is not justified.
Pull out immediately, you are already late.

justifiable and we should pull out when we have met our goals. Who would you like to justify our presence? We are there and the reasons have been gone over & over, time & again. If you have to ask this question now, have you been a modern day Rip Van Winlkle for the past 6 or 7 years, or what?

Yes our presence there is justifiable. We should pull out when the job is done. Pulling out now would be disasterous for the Iraqi's and for the world should the radical islamist take power.
