Wow, wow, wow. The American gov´t has raised the numbers of Iraqi refugees from 206 to 7000 that are allowed to enter the U.S.. And a very generous U.N. donation of 13 million dollars. Wow, so you put crippling sanctions on a country, murder the people, start a civil war, and then let 6794 extra people enter the country. And 13 mill is NOTHING. Compare that to the billions being spent on the war, being given to the ´state of Israel´, and/or for funding a campaign raiser. That is like finding a family in Newark, murdering most of them, and then giving the sole survivor 13 pennies. What do you guys think??? And by the way, don´t insult me, question my nationality, or say anything racial because I WILL report it. Not to be a snitch but to keep this open. Also, I am an American and I do NOT believe in ANY type of violence but I feel that I don´t have to even mention that. Thank you in advance. Love and respect. Peace.

Ok, you think my question is a load of garbage. That is an opinion that you are allowed to have. I´m not going to report you. I said I would report, any insult or anything racial. As that was neither, (just an opinion) you will not have to worrey about getting reported...you see I just wanted what people thought, no more, and as that is what you gave me, I might just make your answer my favorite. Love and Respect. Peace.

I think Bush should ship them all to Crawford Texas, since he is already bringing them here. You do remember that Bush ignored 25 million illegal Latinos on his watch, whats a few Muslims now.

The arrogance of the US in disrupting the lives of generations of Iraqis is palpable. You see for an American to portray the truth in questions like yours does leave you open to insults and questions about your patriotism.

Those that do that, leave themselves open to questions about their disingenuity and lack of candour. It is wrong that Thousands of Iraqis are killed every month because of the quest for oil. It is wrong that the US feels that it can invade a country without planning the subsequent peace. It is wrong that the US should seek to install Puppet Governments that do not have the best interests of Iraqis at heart. Even PM Maliki has said that he wishes he wasn't involved in the Mess that the US has created.

This should be a source of Shame for many patriotic Americans but the 'sheep' keep spouting the nonsense that they are fed by the right wing media.

I will not insult you, to along while your government shreds your country's moral fibber eats it young. Murders abroad all on the behest of the 4 largest American oil companies. Not speaking out in outrage would be a disservice not only to you, your country, the lied to young dead, wounded and still fighting disillusioned vets. Plus the Reputation America once enjoyed world wide as a fair and honest country can never be repaired. We must all yell it from the roof tops "THIS IS NOT MY AMERICA"...Mary.

Who do you think is more of a threat? 7000 registered Iraqi refugees, or 11 million unregistered illegal immigrants. The fact that most libbies are more worried about the refugees than the illegal immigrants is very telling.

I think you are absolutely correct and more refugees should be allowed.

It is ridiculous to force surrounding nations of Iraq to accept these refugees after we were the cause of their status. We are taking no responsibility of our actions.
