I used to work at the BBC and had to sell this programme when it was first developed. I didnt think it was particularly inspiring then and that was 17 years ago. I think there are better ways of learning a language than sitting in front of a screen. Children playing with other children will learn a language quite easily and it's a more natural, communicative approach .

They got bored rather quickly. It's sat on a shelf now, unwatched for the last 2 years. They are doing much better with afterschool classes.

I think it might work if you put in a lot of time yourself motivating them. Otherwise, money down the drain.

I have not seen this programme, but I have used the BBC Primary Languages prog. successfully, as a base.

when I was 10 my parents told me we were moving to the US. They got me the Muzzy set in order to help me learn English. It helped to learn the basics. Yes it helps!!!
