There is nothing wrong with the judiciary or the judicial system which is functional in India in the present lines since about 1860. What is going wrong is purely the tactics and tricks of the counsels or advocates representing clients. They are becoming more bold and reaching into the heart of the judicial system. The delays are most often caused due to collusion between both sides counsels. There are even reported cases of judgments being substituted, documents and even files being removed from courts, judgments being fabricated by advocates themselves. I do not say that everyone is like this but should your case, whatever be the case, take more than 2 years to complete, you can be sure the counsels are in collusion. You should immediately take no objection and change the counsel. Even after you change, you will have a lot of pressure on your new counsel by the ex-counsel and sometimes his colleagues. This you will have to undergo and withstand. Otherwise, handle your case as Party-in-person. If you need instruction, e-mail me.
