First of all thank you for your service. I think you are a bit off base in your assessment though. The price of oil at the well head was much cheaper before the attack on Iraq. I personally believe that the war is not about oil but rather the price of oil, you see when we attacked Iraq we destabilized the region that produces much of the worlds oil and I think that was the plan as many are profiting from your good work and it isn't you or me. I am a consumer and you are in harms way to protect the profit of a few. Be safe over there and come back home you are needed here much more then there.

oil is what makes the world go. If oil prices jumped to extremely high levels the USA would undoubtedly shut down almost completely. Think of the various things in the USA (and in other nations) that have a direct dependency on oil and you will see what I mean. If Europe and others do not do anything about making certain that oil flows at "reasonable" prices then it is the USA that must take the brunt of the fight to do so. My regard for Europe and its "I don't care" policies is extremely low and it is dropping to an even lower level every day. Your assessment of the situation is correct and I agree with you.

So, you're saying it's okay to murder the masses of people in a country to steal their oil?

It's okay for the United States to be an aggressor nation?

That means it's okay for another country to murder masses of U.S. citizens if there is something they want in our country, in our soil...say in your back yard?

Every culture, every group of people deserve respect, dignity, freedom from aggression. If I have platinum in my back yard, and I want to charge a trillion dollars an ounce for it, that is MY RIGHT AS IT IS MINE!

What part of ownership, freedom, justice, respect of others' persons and property are you having a problem with?...that is exactly what your next major lessons will be...how fun will it be for you to suffer the fate of the millions of people the U.S. Republican administrations have murdered for their property?

Instead of going solar, and developing other renewables that don't pollute the already gravely polluted atmosphere of our beautiful planet, this administration, this plutocracy, like so many Republican administrations before them, decided to squander our precious U.S. tax dollars on mass murder and stealing other people's property.

Hopefully, we won't all have to pay for the crimes of a few. Consider the history of France, England, Germany, Japan, Russia... Agressor nations will be humbled!

Gee, that makes me feel so much better knowing that our children and spouses are dying for oil and to keep stock profits up for you. We put our National Guard and border guards in harms way in this country so the drug dealers can pollute our country. Congress needs to start fighting for America. Bring our troops home.

You're forgetting. Liberals believe that anything concerning oil and the US is evil. You can't reason with them if you have a difference of opinion. It's dogma for them.
