anyone know where i can get information and pictures of corsets that have been used throughout history?

That site is great for pictures. You can search by period for a short description and SEVERAL pictures of different corsets from the period.
For the rest of your corset information, check google, your local library or a bookstore.

The Bath Museum of Costume have quite a few. Any fashion/costume museum nearby where you live should have resources available if you ask nicely and are a student or researcher!
