I got the unit primarily to use VoIP, which won't do me much good if my a** is exposed due to viruses..

Btw- ViaTalk (www.viatalk.com) is offering 2 years of VoIP connectivity for just 200 bucks! They don't coverage everywhere like Vonage, but I think they have the best overall package.

There isn't much malware for Windows Mobile - two stupid viruses that have no chance of surviving in-the-wild and one backdoor - so, it doesn't make much sense to install a known-virus scanner on your PocketPC.

If you're still worried about the security of your device, it is better to install some generic protection product - like a firewall. The Airscanner product pointed by another answerer has such a firewall, maybe some of the suites - Trend's or F-Secure's - have one too.
