on www.bored.com there is a totally addictive game called block frenzy.

Bookworm is a word game, you get a tiled board and you have to find words either across, vertically, or diagonally. It's addictive to see how many levels you can reach. I can access it from Microsoft Office games, here's a Yahoo link.
