i dreamt that i was either living in biblical times but their was a modern war going on ,( the usual army gear was worn)or i was in a war zone of modern day eg...libyia ect.And the army was looking to find triplet babies ,but i and a neighbour had twins.my neighbour was very dark skinned and wearing an army uniform as a disguise to avert the real army away from her twins .I felt real terror for the safety of my babies, but they left because they were only looking for triplets, then my husband who in real life would be an actual stranger,goes into our home ,which i can only describe as a wooden shack and brings out my apparantly "real babies "which were triplets .at that point i realised the twins were actually not mine but may of been those of my neighbour.A nd that we were indeed working together to protect the triplets.......TO add to that i hope we were trying to protect the twins too but that wasnt apparrent in the dream.

I am 43 and had relationships with different colours n credes ,I am deffinately not racist as someone seemed to think. and my family including my 23 yr old son havnt a racist bone in their body .although i did respect your answer.and thankyou for it .I did though relate to the answer to which was put to me ,that i may have to question all aspects of my dream considering ,religion which iv always questioned at the side of science and were we come from.and that at this time of my life i am actually re thinking all aspects of my life and past and what i would like to do with my future .and is my current relationship holding me back because of lack of trust in my partner of 10 yrs .he and afreind of ours(then), had an affair before we met , but i found out that he wanted to ressume the affair but she refused .this was 8 yrs ago we split for 2 yrs then got together again .Hes a good man but i cant seem to move on and have been considering ending the relationship for both our sakes BUT

You feel that there is a war being waged. In this war zone People of a military standing are searching for children. Why? You intuitively believe they are looking to harm them. So as any parent would you attempt to hide your children. They are looking for a 3-sided birth and completely ignoring any others. All children are born of 2 parents. Only children who are born knowing the spirit have a 3rd. This third guides them on a path that reconciles the paths of their parents.
Your neighbour wears a military uniform to hide from the searchers. Maybe you see those around you as wearing a mask. They act in agression so that others will not know that they think differently.
Your husband, a stranger you don't know, brings your children out. It is only then that you realize that there are 3 (sides) instead of just 2. Now also take into account the house you live in (physically and emotionally) is a wooden shack, simple and uncomplicated. A stranger enters your "world" and brings forth the triplets (a 3 sided birth).
You realize that you worked together with a stranger for the benefit of the next generation. Your neighbour is from a different background than you. Overcoming differences to accomplish a common goal. To me, it doesn't matter which children belonged to whom. Every child is a communal responsibility. It does not matter whether it is your child that is the exceptional one or not. We all need to nourish and protect them so that they may make better decisions.
I'm not a religious person but I have read alot of religious texts. I see similarities here from stories already told. In biblical times, King Herod called for the Massacre of the Innocents. He did this because he was warned by the magi of the coming of a male child who would dethrone him, Jesus.

You need help (the neighbour) to carry out what you need to do. Do you need to accept the help of others more in life? Was your "husband" trying to help you or sabotage you? I have a phd on dreams and dream-related psychology.
This is a textbook case, originally researched by the German Dr. Freud Bachworkszon. The fact that you had your neighbor's babies and that your neighbor was dark-skinned, means that your parents had some subtle racist tendencies that affected you since you were a child, so you grew up in a racist environment, so to say.
This means that you have racist tendencies too that affect your life and the way you act and behave, even though you do not wish to be this way or really have control over this. Be very careful about how you behave when you are around people of a different race, and I suggest visiting a shrink as soon as possible to see if you can resolve this problem. If you are older then 19-21 years old, it might already be too late and it will affect generation on generation if you were to reproduce.

lol i just read the racism and therapy response, bless! if it takes that much experience to come up with that crock then you are welcome to it, i'll answer from the heart... imo this is a doubt dream manifesting in a dramatic background, sharing of babies?.. or sharing in the father of the babies? biblical setting not that relevant. I personally believe dreams are a way for the subconcious to work through issues. perhaps the relationship needs to move past the philandering issues. easier said than done, sorry..and good luck

The people in your dreams have antiquated ideas. There seemed to be no agenda really other than the fact that they were 'looking" for triplets (a triple threat?). You seemed to have successfully evaded them at any rate. The fact you are trying to protect the babies indicates that you are defending fresh ideas, possibly with a view to ethnic tolerance. Seems to me you are committed to this.

I dont have a degree or 23 years of experience in dream analysis and Freud is much more highly regarded in the USA (often discredited in Europe). My A level Psychology would tend to interpret this as a manifestation of your sexual fears.

I have no idea what that dream means, but I will say that if you're going to sleep whilst wearing a nicotine replacement patch that you should rip that sucker off your arm. Nico-patches cause really weird dreams.
