I loved my children from the minute they were born but i have to say i get more out of our relationship now that they're in their teens. My son is 17 is the funniest person i've ever known, my daughter 14 is the most sweetest, kindest person. Cant choose a particular moment in time, just all of it.

My daughter was born premature and nearly died several times within the first few hours of life. She has 0% body fat and was born dry (there was no amniotic fluid). The nurses and doctors tried everything but she kept slipping. Finally I insisted they give her to me so I could put her naked body (she had a diaper on) under my nursing gown so she was against my naked body. It's a form of Kangaroo-Care, and within minutes of our skin being against each other's skin, her signs of life spiked and never went back down. She got better and better by the minute.

Preemie clothes were huge on her until she was nearly 3 months old; preemie diapers fell off and her entire body fit in my hand.... she's now 4 years old and thriving in life!

She was so beautiful; so fragile... so perfect. Not only was it the best moment of having my daughter, but the best moment of my life. I am truly blessed.

1. When you first see the child walk for the first time.

2. When the baby tries to speak something using its child language.

Both of these can be paid a crore to watch for lifetime.

Their smell, when they slept, their smiles, the hugs and kisses, - you can't just have ONE best moment! There are too many to choose from :)
