I took gymnastics for about 3 years. I started at ten. You can still start if you want. I would not suggest practicing on your own; it would be good if you can find some one who took gymnastics, maybe a cheerleader of something to help you. .............Now if you want to be in the olympics or something, i think your a bit to late; but you are never to late just to learn. Im 21 by the way and didnt learn how to do a back flip until i got out of gynmastics. I your school has a gymastics team, join it.

It is definetly not something i would tell you to do on your own though. And besides, its more fun with a friend, you'll want to do it more.

I agree that you are never to old! I started floor gymnastics at the age of 15. I did not do any other gymnastics training. Before I left for college I was up to back layouts, now at 25 I am back in weekend classes and getting everything back...so do not think based on age that things are not possible. It really made me a better cheerleader and has kept me healthy. Give it a shot, you never know till you try!! Good Luck!!

I'm flexible too, but I like pancakes to much to be a good gymnast. You are never too old for anything, especially pancakes. I say if you want to eat pancakes then go ahead and do it!
