Had to call in sick on Wednesday. Went to my doc on Tuesday eve with a fever of 102. Even got up Wednesday, showered drove a mile and turned around. Fever was still 102. Now it's Friday and I still feel horrible. My doctor is afraid I could develope pnemonia. How bad is calling in again ? Why do I feel guilty ? Can't imagine DRIVING there ??? !!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I get bronchitis 2 or 3 times a year, so I know how sick you are. My doctor always gives me a note for my employer telling them I need time off from work. I'm wondering why your doctor didn't do the same. If he didn't give you an Albuterol inhaler, call and ask for one of those, it really helps you breath much better. And ask for a note to take to your employer. I don't know if you are a smoker or not, but smokers tend to get bronchitis much more often than those who don't. That's the main reason I'm quitting. Two weeks smoke free now. Hope I can do it. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I once suffered from Chronic Bronchitis. I would suffer sometimes 3 to 4 times per year! Usually when there was a major change in the pressure outside (I live in the north, and the temperature spikes and dips do wonders to chronic sufferers of bronchitis!). Each time I would get horrible hacking coughs, hoarking up green phlegm..it was so frustrating!

The key to getting rid of your bronchitis is to find a way to completely eliminate the germs that are causing all the phlegm and irritation leading to your hoarking cough and heavy breathing. Keep reading to learn how to do kill these germs!!

I used to get bronchitis a lot when I smoked. I gave up about 3 yrs ago and haven't had it since, in fact I haven't had any illness at all in that time. I'm sorry to hear you are so sick but if you ARE a smoker at all it is SO worth quitting. Just a thought. If you aren't just ignore this. ;)
GET WELL SOON.
