There is nothing wrong with them, they just won 5 grammys. They were the first ones to speak out about the president, now everyone is doing it and it`s OK.You see all over the news that all most all off congress want`s to stop the war and some people want the president out of office.Lets spend billions of dollars on a place that will never change and starve our own people and let plants close and put people in the streets.I say hats off to the Dixie Chicks, someone should have bashed the president sooner.

The Dixie chicks made an off color comment about being ashamed from being from the same state as President bush.

Since a good bunch of country music listeners are pretty stubbornly republican, the whole country music community took extreme offense to it, and have since been blacklisted on most country radio stations.

Yet, amazingly, they are faring much better as pop artists.

As I recall, some years back at a concert they announced that they were embarrassed that George W. Bush was our president. Since most country music fans are politically conservative, and beyond that, pro American, they basically saw the DC as anti American liberals. I believe the DC are also against the war in Iraq, which again in some circles is seen as being anti American.

Their attempt to create Bush-bashing buzz to revive their careers is silly.
Alot of people do it and it's getting stale and shows no imagination.
